Sugarplum Cakery
Sugarplum Cakery is the brainchild of Kirti Bhoutika in 2015, when she was in her college. A dessert fanatic herself, she wanted to bake the best cakes for Kolkata. Kirti Bhoutika entered the Masterchef India competition just after finishing her college and with a little positive approach and a whole lot of passion for cooking, she became the youngest Masterchef India Winner in December 2016. Since then, she has been travelling and exploring the world to get back the best desserts for Kolkata.
From cakes to cupcakes, macarons to choux pastries, tarts and brownies, Sugarplum offers delicious and addictive treats. Our base kitchen is located in Salt Lake, sector 1 and but we deliver across the city. We bake to order, so you can be sure whatever you are eating is made freshly just for you. Most of our products are eggless.

Our Mission
KIRTI BHOUTIKA
Kirti Bhoutika, is the founder of the Sugarplum Cakery kitchen. She has been the winner of the prestigious Masterchef India Season 5, proving her culinary talents on small screen. After her win, Kirti has worked in various restaurants like LIMA, NRI and Farzi Café, Mumbai. She has also done sit down dinners for Rang Mahal, Dubai. Kirti also did a sit down dinner for the Embassy of Italy in India in 2017. In January 2018, Kirti was invited to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum to cook the dessert for the dinner hosted by PM Narendra Modi for delegates from all around the world. Kirti also has her own Youtube channel which is loved because all the do-able and pretty desserts she teaches. Apart from this, she keeps travelling the country and the world to do cooking events teaching and preaching her love for cooking.
